Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers spacious rooms with huge sofas and roaring fires, perfect for pre-dinner drinks, but they can get very hot. The service was top-notch, with incredibly attentive staff, albeit some minor shortcomings in response time. The location is serene and beautiful, ideal for various activities and enjoying the stunning views of Chesil Beach. Dining was exceptional with a diverse and delicious menu. Overall, a luxurious stay with a few minor room temperature concerns.
My stay at this hotel was delightful. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and in keeping with the eclectic colonial style, though a bit small. The service was exemplary, especially from lovely Sonia in the restaurant. The location was fantastic, right by Chesil Beach with stunning surroundings. The dining was a simple affair but of excellent quality.
The hotel offers a mix of positives with its great location and friendly staff. However, the rooms lack ambiance and are in need of refurbishment. The dining experience was a bit of a hit or miss. The facilities need some attention too.
